Ella Mae Austin, age 97, passed away December 17, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. She was born May 23, 1916 to the late Bras Richesin and Ertie Eoff Richesin. She was an avid bridge player. Ella was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Edwin Lee Austin and son, Jarrell Austin.

One Son: Edwin D. Austin of Katy, TX
One Daughter: Kay Tarpley of Fayetteville, NC
Five grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild
Daughter-in-Law: Patty Austin of Morehead, KY
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2 pm at Mt. Ida Methodist Church with Reverend David Steele officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Ida Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Ida Methodist Church. Arrangements were made under the direction of Thornton Funeral Home. Guest registry at thorntonfh.com.
